Hyperchain Technology participated in the 2026 China-ASEAN Expo AI Experts Salon in Nanning, China, on September 18, 2026, to discuss how secure data collaboration can support AI adoption across China and Southeast Asia. Held as part of the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), the event brought together business leaders from China, Singapore and Malaysia to exchange perspectives on AI infrastructure, security and industry applications.

Dr. Li Wei, Chairman of Hyperchain Technology, highlighted the challenges of cross-border data flows for businesses deploying AI in international markets. As AI models and agents become more deeply integrated into business workflows, companies need to protect sensitive data, manage access permissions and maintain oversight of actions taken autonomously by AI systems. Differences in regulatory requirements across markets add to the complexity.

As a provider of trusted data infrastructure and data operations services, Hyperchain Technology supports secure data collaboration across organizations and regions. Its capabilities enable controlled data sharing and authorized access, providing a reliable data foundation for industry-specific AI applications.

For example, in financial services, Hyperchain Technology helped develop a secure data-sharing platform in Jiangxi Province, China, that brings together data from banks, government agencies and businesses. The platform helps reduce information gaps between lenders and businesses, supporting access to financing for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Experience from projects such as this can inform collaboration with partners in ASEAN markets, particularly in managing data access and connecting workflows across organizations. Solutions would need to be adapted and validated against local regulatory requirements and business practices.

Hyperchain Technology has also led or contributed to the development of more than 300 digital technology standards, including over 120 international standards. Its international standardization work includes contributions within the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and IEEE.

Looking ahead, Hyperchain Technology aims to work with businesses and partners across ASEAN to explore secure data collaboration and industry-specific AI applications. The focus is on developing solutions that meet local data protection requirements and fit day-to-day business operations, helping turn trusted data into practical business value.
